February 4, 1940 – October 17, 2018
Peacefully, on October 17, 2018, Eva Mary Hildebrand passed away at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 78 years. Eva will be deeply missed by Abe, her husband of 58 years.
Left to remember her are her children, James (Christine), Anita (Rob), Peggy, and grandchildren, Megan (Dustin), Devon (Lynne), Jessy, Casey & Neil. Eva is pre-deceased by her son Dan. She is survived by her sister Kathy Neudorf (Henry), three brothers, Henry Janzen (Carol), Peter Janzen (Jackie), Ed Janzen and their families.
She always loved the company of her family and friends and was always up for a visit and a game of cards. She was a wonderful grandma and loved her grandchildren very much. Her homemade baking and cooking were enjoyed by many and everyone was always made to feel welcome.
Family thanks the staff at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home who went above and beyond in taking such great care of her.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva’s memory can be made to the Bethania Mennonite Memorial Foundation or a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at the Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home Chapel at 1045 Concordia Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, with interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
