Alfred George Eason
January 15, 1933 – January 12, 2023

Peacefully with his family by his side, Alfred (Alf) passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on January 12, 2023 at the age of 89 years.

He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Betty), his parents Mary and Alfred Eason, his sister Nancy, and his brothers Peter and Robert.

Alfred will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son Andrew (Linda), his sister Mary in England, and his brother Victor in British Columbia.

Alfred was born in Faversham, Kent, England in 1933. He served in the Royal Air Force from 1951 to 1954. He married Elizabeth in 1956 and they moved to Winnipeg in 1957. He worked at Eaton’s for 36 years and retired 1993. He assisted Elizabeth with her daycare until she retired in 2014.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital for their care during Alfred’s last days. The family would also like to thank the staff at Kildonan House for their kindness with Alfred and Elizabeth since 2020.

A private memorial has taken place with the immediate family.
