Anne Rempel
1935-2021
Anne Rempel age 85 peacefully passed away holding her husband hand (Henry Rempel) at Riverview Hospital May 18 at 6:45 am. Anne was pre-deceased by her daughter Cynthia, parents Bernhard and Maria Buhler, siblings Sue Dyck, Lena Dyck, Nellie Buhler, Henry Buhler and Pete Buhler.
She is survived by her sisters Mary Unruh and Lydia Bergen.
Anne was born in Mossy River MB June 28 1935. She lived on a small farm just outside Winnipegosis. There they played, went to school and went to church. Years later with two other sisters, Anne moved to Winnipeg and started to work. Anne worked for papers and became a hair stylist. Through church activities she met Henry Rempel and shortly after got married. On October 12 1963 they married in Sargent Mennonite Church. They shared 58 years together. Henry and Anne had two children, Randy Rempel and Richard Rempel.
Funeral services will be held at Friends Funeral Service, on May 21 at 11am with a small group of the family members. There will also be a small service at the grave side Glen Eden.
