Comfort Oluwatoyin Odogun was born on the 5th of May 1950, in Ilorin Kwara State, Nigeria, to the family of Aladeloba of Idoani Ondo State, Nigeria. She had her primary and secondary school education at Idoani in the early sixties. Comfort met her late husband, Adedayo Odogun and they got married on the 11th of January 1967, she was a faithful and dedicated wife to her husband of about 49 years, they had lived and travelled to various parts of Nigeria during the time of her husband's service at defunct Post and Telecommunication department, now Nigerian Telecommunication Limited (NITEL).

Comfort was a devout Christian who served her God diligently. She was a member of both St Thomas' Anglican Church Akure, Nigeria and St Paul's Anglican Church Winnipeg, Manitoba. She served in various church committees and at one time chairperson of the Church Annual Harvest, at St Thomas' Anglican Church Akure, Nigeria. Comfort was a courageous woman, bold and a great disciplinarian.

Comfort's generosity to humanity was unequalled. She was a trader and later a subsistence Poultry farmer. The prime of her life was spent raising her children and grandchildren. She was multi linguist, smart, quick witted and caring woman to a fault.
The demise of her husband on the 5th of August 2015 left her highly devastated, but took solace in God her creator. She travelled to Canada in 2017 to visit her children and grandchildren in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She died peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday 17th of November 2020 at the age of 70 years, she was survived by many children and many grandchildren.

WE LOVE YOU MUM BUT GOD LOVES YOU MOST,

REST IN THE BOSOM OF GOD YOUR CREATOR UNTIL WE MEET TO PART NO MORE
