Obituary for Deanna Z Fiks (Stober)
Deanna Zenta Fiks of Winnipeg Manitoba passed away at Grace Memorial Hospital. On Monday April 19, 2021.
Deanna was a devoted, loving wife to husband Eric (deceased) and mother to her 2 sons, Gerald and Terry.
She was a well-respected member of the River Ridge Retirement Residence where she lived and could be heard asking people to play her board game Aggravation. She was also a force to be reckoned with in the shuffle board matches. As an active member of McDermot Avenue Baptist Church; she served on many committees, singing in the choir, duets with husband Eric and other singing groups, volunteering for countless activities. She loved the Lord and prayed for a great many people every day.
Deanna is survived by her 2 sons, Gerald (Gerry) Fiks and Terry Fiks, both living in North Carolina, her brother Gerry Stober of Victoria British Columbia and Beverly (Bev) Stober of Bowsman, Manitoba, and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.
