Della Theresa Lavallee
March 5, 1927 – August 31, 2020l
On Monday, August 31st 2020, Della Theresa Lavallée (née Kohnen), of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the grand age of 93 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond, whom she married at St. Ignatius Church, Winnipeg in 1947. She was also predeceased by her four sisters; Leona, Blanche, Cecilia, and Jonelle, as well as her brother, Philip. Della is survived by her two sons; Gregory and David (Karen) of Winnipeg, as well as by her daughter Marlene of Toronto, and by her two granddaughters, Cheryl of Calgary, and Teresa of Toronto.
Della was a prolific and successful gardener all her life. Always kind and generous, she shared the fruits of her green-thumb, brightening the homes and gardens of friends and family from coast to coast. Closing the garden in the fall, Della delighted in her preparation for the Christmas season, with a spectacular winter wonderland which she lovingly created throughout her home in St. Boniface.
Although Della lives on through her entire family, she will be forever loved and missed.

In keeping with Della’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
