Obituary

Edwin James Siemens
November 9, 1948 – January 25, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ed on January 25, 2021.

Ed was born in Winnipeg and graduated from Churchill High School. He spent most of his life in the Winnipeg area before relocating to Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan. He inherited his father’s love of cars and trucks. He first got behind a wheel of truck when he was 16 and then followed his father into the trucking industry. He travelled to every corner of Canada and the United States. He often entertained family and friends with tales of his adventures on the road.

Ed will be sorely missed by his daughter Jennifer, his sister Darlene Grieve (Don) and their family and Jennifer’s mother Rosemary. He will be missed by his cousins especially those who are fellow truckers and other relatives and friends.

Ed, go in peace. We will miss you. You will always be with us.

Due to COVID-19, a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
