Eugenie Beryl Meakings (Sheppard)
Peacefully on June 30, 2022 Eugenie went to be with the Lord.
Eugenie was born on August 2, 1940 in Halesworth, England near her home town Dunwich, England, during the Battle of Britain.
She leaves to mourn, her husband Roy of 57 years, extended family in England, friends near and far, and Morris & Amanda their beloved cats.
Eugenie was predeceased by her grandparents, parents Harry and Margaret and sister Heather.
Eugenie was baptized as an infant and was faithful to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1965 Eugenie and Roy were married in England; then in 1969 they immigrated to Canada where they lived mostly in Winnipeg, and were settled in their current residence for the past 40 years. During their 57 years together they travelled to many different countries and shared many great adventures.
Eugenie has left many meaningful and happy memories for those who knew and loved her that will last their lifetimes.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at
St. Luke’s Zion Lutheran Church, 2903 McPhillips Street, Winnipeg, MB, R2P 0H3
