Obituary

Fredrick Wayne Pfeiffer

July 6, 1952 – February 15, 2021

On February 15, 2021, Fred Pfeiffer passed away in Winnipeg at the age of 68. Fred is lovingly remembered by Brenda, his wife and partner of 42 years. He will also be sorely missed by his furry companion, Kacey; brother-in-law Freddie (Bea) and sister-in-law Sandy (Bruce); special kids Corey (Kim), Carrie (Dan), and Kathleen (Alishia); and beloved grandkids Larissa, Courtney, Beatrice, James, and Remi.

Fred was born in Vernon, B.C. on July 6, 1952. After a short time in B.C., he and his family returned to Manitoba where Fred put down his roots. Fred loved the prairie landscape. Whether it was chasing game in the woods or fish on the waters, he was always content in nature. Fred’s taste for adventure and wide-open skies was also evident on trips with Brenda to Newfoundland, where he cherished being close to the sea. Fred’s easy-going personality helped him create many friendships over the years, including a number formed around the snooker table. He will be missed by many.

A private celebration of Fred’s life will take place by invitation on Thursday, February 25 at 11:00AM.

The service will be live-streamed at the following link - http://www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/10999.
