John Bordynuik
November 10, 1932 – October 21, 2022
Surrounded by family, John Bordynuik peacefully passed away on October 21, 2022, at home, at the age of 89 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Elsie; children, Pat (Jake), Bill (Nancy) and Ken (Deany); grandchildren, Cory (Anneke), Brittany (Erik), Braden (Brittany), Richard and Nicholas; great grandchildren Kaleb, Emersyn and Callum; and many other relatives and friends.
Prior to retirement he was employed with the Winnipeg Transit as a bus driver for 26 years. He had the good fortune of 28 years of retirement and doing his favourite things: hunting, fishing, foraging and spending time with his family and friends.
John will be interned at Glen Eden Cemetery at 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2022. A Celebration of Life will follow at Douglas Mennonite Church, 1517 Rothesay Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba at 10:30 AM.
The family thanks the wonderful staff at Cancer Care Manitoba and the Palliative Care Program.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John’s memory to Cancer Care Manitoba.
