Obituary for Karl Peter Enns

Karl Peter Enns passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 2, 2020 while in Minnedosa for the long weekend with family. Karl was born in Winnipeg February 3, 1965. He will be missed and remembered by his sons, Rydell and Keaton and daughter Nevada; brother Dave; brother-and-sister-in-law, Jon and Neoma and their children, Jessica (Billy), Joelle (Glenn), Caleb (Carrie); and numerous family and friends. Karl was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Margaret, and two brothers, George and Edgar.

Growing up, Karl enjoyed playing numerous sports but hockey was always his favourite, and he continued to play well into his adult years. Karl and Dave could often be seen using the garden tractor for things other than mowing. They loved playing outside no matter the weather, on snow hills, digging tunnels, snowmobiling, dirt biking, wrestling and just doing what boys do.

As Karl got older, he helped more with the farming, which led him to take up farming. Even though he switched careers to Avionics he still loved being on the farm. Once he graduated from SAIT in Calgary he went to work at Perimeter Aviation with a great crew and enjoyed his 15+ years there.

Karl was so proud of his children, Rydell, Keaton and Nevada. As each child was old enough, they were enrolled in the Minor Hockey program where Karl was honoured to help out with some coaching. They also spent time together going camping, visiting their cousins, playing mini sticks, making models and Lego creations. All four of their love of Lego meant a lot of pieces, everywhere! Karl deeply treasured his time with them. He was blessed to be surrounded by amazing friends from the Elm Creek Church and Community as well as his family.

Karl knew Jesus as his Saviour and drew on God's love to give him strength.
