KATIE THIELMANN
Our dear sister, Katie Thielmann died on September 22, 2020 at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg due to complications. She was born on January 21, 1929 in the Carman, MB area.
Katie was predeceased by her parents Martin and Katharina (Wiebe) Thielmann, one infant brother, sister Edith, and brother-in-law William Buhler.
Katie is survived by siblings: Henry (Betsy), Annemary, Ernie (Laura), Gertrude, Margaret, brother-in-law John Czwarno and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Katie will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.
Thank you to all the caregivers at the nursing home, where she lived for about 3 ½ months.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Elm Creek Mennonite Brethren Church, with private interment to follow at the Elm Creek Cemetery. Viewing on Friday, September 25 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg, and also at the church prior to the service.
