Gratitude
It’s a spectacular day
I love it and I want it to stay
I hold on tight as it slips away
And tomorrow’s another coming my way
I’m part of this beautiful place
Is why there’s a smile on my face
I’ve no need for dreams to chase
As it continually flows at my pace
I’m alive and having fun
Like a child, through fields I run
Feeling energy flow from the sun
Because with the universe, I am one
I soar so high above
Carried by the wings of a dove
This life fits me as sweet as a glove
And its because in everything is love.
