LOUISE REMPEL
Unexpectedly and with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Louise Rempel aged 92 at Health Science Centre on Monday, September 5, 2022.
Louise is survived by daughter Elenore Busby (Rob), son Ed Toews (Heidi), daughter in-law Carla Toews (Bill Rademaker); 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Klassen and Agnes Koop, and many other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by husbands, Walter Toews, Virgil Gerig and Arthur Rempel; son George Toews, and one brother Nick Huebert.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022 at McIvor Ave MB Church, 200 McIvor Ave, Winnipeg, with visitation on Thursday, September 8 from 7 – 8 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St., Winnipeg. A private family interment will take place prior to the service.
The family thanks the nurses and staff on GH-3 at the Health Science Centre for their wonderful care.
