With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Jane Milton.

Marg is survived by her loving husband Ted Penner; daughters, Roxi Banman, Angela Rocke (Peter), son Rick Cowan; granddaughters, Tara & Brandy Banman, Cheyenne Rocke (Tyler Fox), and Rowan Alprin, grandson Tyson Busby, five great grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Marg leaves to mourn her close friends Dave Cowan, Al Milton, Mandy Crump, Patricia Harrison & Larry Dyck, Richard & Naomi Nast, Madeline & Ken Wiebe, Les IIes, Bert & Liane Dupuis, Norma & Brian Shrimpton, and Gerry Gendron plus many many more.

Marg was the extreme dog lover to the end and throughout her life has had numerous pets and now leaves Abby, Willow, Jessie, Piper and Levis in the loving care of her husband Ted. She also volunteered for years with the Winnipeg Lost Dog Alert to name just one of many.

Marg’s other passion was motorcycles and enjoying that lifestyle and was one of the founders of the Breast Cancer Pledge Ride as well as lifetime member of H.O.G. Canada. She travelled uncountable miles as a passenger with her husband Ted on the back of their bike or in the sidecar and when not on a motorcycle, in the passenger seat of her other favourite ride, their 32 Ford Roadster Hotrod.

Cremation along with a private family service has taken place. A commemoration of life motorcade will be arranged and announced in spring ending with interment at Elmwood Cemetery. As part of her last wishes, following interment, a party celebrating her spirit and love of life will be held. Details will be announced at a later time

My dear Marg, you’ve courageously suffered for far to long but always going forward bravely with your infectious smile and love of life. Now it’s time to let your sprite ride free. Miss you forever!

In closing, the family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital for their loving care they showed Marg during her stay and final days of her life.
