Obituary for Meron Gebrebrhan
ፍቕርቲ ጓልና ሜሮን ፍስሃየ ገብረብርሃን ካብ እዛ ዓለም ብሞት ብምእላያ መሪር ሓዘን ይስመዓና። ሜሮን ጓል 11 ዓመት ንሹድሽተ ኣዋርሕ ብሕማም ምኽንያት ኣብ ሕክምና ተዓቑባ ድሕሪ ምጽንሓ ብዕለት ጥሪ 22, 2022 ካብቶም እተፍቅሮም ወለዳን ኣሕዋታን፡ የዕሩኹታን፡ መማህርታን ካብዛ ዓለም ኣብ ሸዊት ዕድሜኣ ተፈልያትና ። ሜሮን ኣብ እዋን ዕራፋታ በቶም እተፍቅሮም ስድራቤታ ተኸቢባ ብሰላም ሓሊፋ። ናይ ሜሮን ዕራፋት ነቶም ብዙሕ ዘናፍቅርዋ ኣደን ኣቦን ኣሕዋታን ኣዝዩ ከቢድዩ ።
እቶም እነፍቅሮም ወለድና ሓንቲ ጓል ኣንስተይቲ ሕጻን ኣብ ሞንጎ ኣወዳት መርካቦም ንፈጣሪ ዓቢ ምስጋና ኣብ ጺሖምዮም። ብፍላይ ድማ ንውላዲታ ሓፍታን ካልኣይታን ብምርካባ ገዛና ብዓቢ ሓጎስ ተምሊኣ ኔራ። ሜሮን ከም ትምኒቶም ፈቃርን ሓብሓቢትን ክትኮኖሎም ሰብ ዓቢ ትምኒት ኔሮም። ናብ ኣምላኽ ዝጸለይዎ ጸሎት ተፈጸመ ንሱ ድማ ንሜሮን ሃቦም ። ወለድና ጓል ብምርካቦም ተሓጐሱ ደቆም ከኣ ሓፍቲ ብምርካቦም ተፈስሁ ።
ሜሮን ከምቲ ስማ ዝእምቶ ሓጐስትን ምፍቀሪትን ኔራ። ሜሮን ቤትምህርቲ ትፈቱ ናይ ትምህርቲ ድልየት ዘለዋ ፡ ምስ መሓዙታ ምጽዋት ተዝውተር፡፡ ኣብ ትርፊ ግዜኣ ምግቢ ምኽሻንን፡ ቡን ምፍላሕን ብሽኮቲ፡ ምስንካትን፡ ትፈቱ ነበረት ። ከማኡ እውን ብሽክለታ ምዝዋር ፡ መዝሙራት ወንጌል ምስማዕ ብጣዕሚ ትፈቱ ነበረት ። መሮን ብዓልቲ ብርህቲ ገጽ፡ ፍሽኽታ ዝዓሰላ፡ ህድእቲ፡ ህጻን እያ ኔራ። ኣምላኽ ንሓጐስናን ንሰላምናን ዜሐጕሰና ወላድ ስለ ዝሃበና ንሕጐስ ነበርና ። እወ ኣምላኽ ነታ ፍቕርቲ ሓፍትና ሂቡና፡ ሕጂ ኸኣ ነታ ፍቕርቲ ጓልናን ሕፋትና ፍቓዱ ስለ ዝኾነ ወሲድዋ ።
ሜሮን ምስ ሓመመት ኵሎም ስድራቤትናን፥ መሓዛትናን፥ ሕብረተሰብናን፥ ምእንቲ ኽትሓዊ ጸለዩምን ተማላሊሶምን እዮም።
በዚ ኣጋጣሚ ሞት ጓልናን ሓፍትና ነቶም ኣብ Health Sciences Children Hospital ሰብ ሞያ ጕጅለ ሕክምና ነበርክትኦም ነመስግን። ካብዚ በዘይፍለ ናይ ኤርትራ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተ/ክርስትያን ደብረ ሳህል ቅዱስ ሚኬኣል ብፍላይ መንፈሳውያን መራሕቲ፡ ናይ ኤርትራ ማህበርሰብ ብጠቕላላ፡ ቤት ትምህርቲ St. Maurice School ካብ ትሓምም ጀሚርኩም ክሳብ ዕራፋታ ዝደገፍኩምናን ፡ ዘጻናናዕኩምናን ምስግናና ክብ ዝበለዩ። የቐንየልና ሕሰም ኣይትርከቡ ንብል። ስድራቤት።
እየሱስ ግና "መንግስተ ሰማያት ንኸምዚኣቶም ዝበሉ እያ እሞ፡ ሕደግዎም ሕጻናት ናባይ ምምጻእ ኣይትኽልእዎም በለ። (ማቴዎስ 19 ፡14)
It’s with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved daughter Meron. Meron was surrounded by loved ones when she passed away on January 22, 2022, after six-month battle with cancer. She has left behind a loving mother, father and three brothers who will miss her so much.
Our loved parents wished for a baby girl to love and cherish. Their prayers to God came true and He gave them Meron. Our parents were happy that they got a daughter and their sons were happy that they got a sister.
Meron as her name implies was full of happiness and love. She was social and lovable. Meron was attending in grade 4 at St. Maurice School and loved learning. She also enjoyed learning how to cook, she enjoyed baking muffins and cookies. Meron loved riding bicycle and roller blades as well as listening to gospel songs. She always brought a smile to everyone’s face and we will miss seeing her play with her friends and talking endlessly about singing and baking. We were elated that God gave us someone who added happiness to our happiness and peace to our family. Yes, God gave us our sweet sister and truly He is the one who gives and takes and now He took our beloved Meron (a daughter and a sister).
When Meron got sick, all our family and friends prayed for her healing. The medical team at Health Science children’s Hospital from CK5 and the palliative care unit all helped to give her the care and attention required to fight the illness. We appreciate and thank St. Maurice School, Eritrean Community at large, St. Michael Eritrean church members and the clergy who visited Meron and supported us. It turned out God wanted her as much as we wanted her. May her soul rest in peace!
