Obituary for Norma Jean Kinnear (Lunde)
We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother Norma Jean Kinnear on January 13, 2023.
Norma was born on March 23, 1937 in Leeds, North Dakota. She met her husband Bruce Kinnear in Leeds where she was a lifeguard at the community pool. They were married on September 2, 1956. They made their family home in Winnipeg for over 65 years in the North Kildonan area and had two children. Left to mourn are her children, Mike (Carolyn) and Wendy (Nigel).
Norma had several part time jobs in her lifetime. She worked for Safeway as a cashier for 25 years and after she retired, she was an Avon lady for a period of another 25 years. Selling Avon brought her joy and happiness throughout the years. Norma made many long-lasting friendships during this time. She enjoyed visiting and joking around with many of her customers and friends. Mom will be sadly missed and forever loved.
Rest in peace Mom we love you and will see you again one day.
