Reinhold Sawatzky, age 56, passed away on October 9,2022 due to a tumour in his gallbladder which spread as an aggressive cancer throughout his organs.

He was born on February 3, 1966, in Chaco, Paraguay to his parents Abram and Justina Sawatzky. At age 10 he lost his dad to cancer and for the next 10 years he was raised by his foster parents Jakob and Else Hiebert on a farm, where he learned to work hard on whatever needed to be done on the farm but operating the tractor was his favourite thing to do.
Reinhold married his longtime friend and love Anna in May 23 1987. Two years later they moved to Canada to take on new adventures in life. They worked hard during the week but never forget to have fun on the weekends, going camping and fishing. Reinhold loved to make people laugh with his humorous comments. He loved good food especially BBQ ribs.

Reinhold took great pride in his work and worked hard in concrete business or operating a loader, everyone knew when he came to work things got done and they were done right, no time to waste. Just as it says in Col. 3, 23 Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily from the soul, as something done to the Lord and not for men.
