Obituary for Sharon Elizabeth Lockhart (Bell)

Sharon Elizabeth Lockhart
August 26, 1942 - October 14, 2022

Born to Winifred Elizabeth Dunn and Thomas Inglis Bell on August 26, 1942 in Winnipeg.

Predeceased and devoted wife of 54 years to William "Clayton" Lockhart. Sister to David Bell (Barb) and Barb Crawshaw. Mother to Candice Dawn Patterson and Tawnya Janet Jennings (Mike) and Grandmother of 8.
As a youth, she had a passion for figure skating and loved being with her grandparents.

Sharon started her secretarial career at Bird Construction in Winnipeg and ended at St. Boniface Hospital in the x-ray department.

Sharon had a smile to light up a room and always could make people laugh. She was generous to a fault and always thinking of others, trying to brighten someone's day.

Sharon couldn't bake to impress anyone but give her an axe or a paintbrush and she would start and finish projects you didn't know you wanted done.

She loved to travel, especially to beach destinations; both to local beaches and Mexico. She was always the life of the party with her many shenanigans, whether it was with buckets of ice or “accidentally” shooting water on unsuspecting people with a water gun at Grand Beach, feigning innocence.

No one was safe around Sharon's mischievous nature and she would always have an accomplice or two teaching all of the next generation something new.

Her off-the-wall humor was and will forever be felt down through generations. With her love of music and singing off key, she was always willing to "let me entertain you!"

A celebration of life for both Sharon and Clayton will be held at a future date.

A huge thank you to Revera Charleswood Care Home for taking such good care of our parents.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba would be very appreciated.

You will be loved and missed forever ❤️.
