May 11,1963 – September 21, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Verica Kafka on Monday, September 21, 2020 at the age of 57, surrounded by loved ones at her side at home.
Verica will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Angel (Nic), sister Biljana, loving friend Rob, nephew Aleksandar (Antonietta), niece Jasmina (William) & great nieces/ nephew Gabriella, Maja, Gavin & Isabella, along with many relatives back home in Serbia & friends in Winnipeg.
Predeceased by her parents Zagorka & Srboljub, son Milorad, brother Zvonko & husband Blair.
Verica was born in Serbia & immigrated to Winnipeg in 1970.
Though she faced many adversities she never lost her sense of compassion & love. She will always be remembered as a free spirit & a great friend to all who knew & loved her.
The family would like to thank Rob for his loving care & compassion of Vera. We are really grateful.
Our Verica is now free to run on legs that never grow tired, breath unaided, enjoying perfect health & a clear mind!
God has her in His arms; we have her in our hearts!
