Obituary for Waldemar Herman Matz
WALDEMAR (WALLY) MATZ
Waldemar was born on October 10, 1940 and passed peacefully in his sleep on May 23, 2022 at the Grace General Hospital.
He is survived by Esther, his wife of 58 years; two daughters, Einike and Natalie (Ken), four grandchildren, Zachary (Vasty), Jacob, Brandon and Talia. He is also survived by his sister Ingrid, and other relatives and friends. Waldemar was predeceased by his twin sister Erika.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church with viewing prior to the service. Livestreaming of the service will be available through Bethel Mennonite Church. Interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, following the reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson’s Society of Manitoba.
