Obituary for Xander Koule

Xander Koule

It is with broken hearts that our little angel Xander Koule went home to be with Jesus. Even though we were only able to have him for such a short time, he touched our lives in ways that will live on in our hearts and never be forgotten. He will always be a part of us.

Born November 13, 2022 at 11:56 a.m., weighing 6 pounds 6 ounces, he was a beautiful baby boy with a full set of blonde hair. He was perfect in every way! It was shortly after birth we learned that Xander was born with Trisomy 13. Even though this was a great shock and devastating, we made the decision that he would be loved unconditionally, no matter how long he would be with us.

How fortunate and blessed we were to be able to hold him and love on him for nine days. On November 22, 2022 at 3:06 p.m. Xander peacefully took his last breath and was called home into the loving arms of Jesus. He will always live on inside of us until we meet again.

Xander is survived by his parents Sharayah and Anastas, and big sister Leandra along with their cats, Luna and Lia. He is also survived by his Nena Lida Petani and Gjysji Ganni Koule in Albania, Halla Eriselda and family in Greece, Great Oma Mary Plew, Oma and Afi Darlene and Larry Oliver, Uncle Ky, XhaXha Sotiris and family and many other relatives in Winnipeg, Greece, Albania and Germany.

A private immediate family interment will take place prior to the service with will be held at Springs Church ( Youth Building) at 725 Lagimodiere Blvd., Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 12:00 noon.

The family would like to thank Dr. Larry Reynolds and the delivery team, along with Dr. Aaron Chui and all the other doctors, specialists and nurses in the NICU Unit Pod D at the Women’s Health Centre for their care and support during Xander’s stay.
